Adventure Island is an action packed water fun park located near Busch Gardens.  The lush grounds of this 30-acre water-park are filled with towering palms that provide the backdrop for the numerous caribbean-themed water adventures that promise to make you and keep you very wet.  Prepare for a soaking with rides like Wahoo Run, Aruba Tuba, Caribbean Corkscrew, Gulf Scream, Key West Rapids, Runaway Rapids, Tampa Typhoon, Water Moccasin, and Calypso Coaster.  For the more faint hearted there are numerous relaxing waters geared toward those who like to lounge in the water.  Float for half a mile on the Rambling Bayou which meanders along a scenic rainforest and waterfall.  There are soaking surprises everywhere so if you need to beat the heat, Adventure Island will do the trick.  And if you forgot your suit, don't turn back.  Adventure Island is prepared to don you in the latest beach fashion at the Surf Shop, where you may also procure other goodies like suntan lotion.  And, of course, the park will also keep you well fed.
