The St. Pete Pier is a landmark of downtown St. Petersburg since 1899 providing visitor with plenty of action. Fishing takes place on the approach to The Pier and around the exterior of the building along the sea walls. Fishing poles can be rented from The Pier Bait House and bait purchased there.
Two, four and six-seater surrey bikes can be rented at Wheel Fun Rentals opposite The Pier Bait House for riding around The Pier and the downtown area.
The Dolphin Queen is a sightseeing boat that guarantees dolphin sighting. Tours are held 7 days a week. weather permitting. Reservation and ticket information can be obtained by calling 727.647.1538.
Boating at The Pier is The Pier's newest attraction with charter sailboats available for sunset cruises and more. For reservations and further information, call 727-365-4738. The Electric Marina boat rental and Boating at The Pier are accessible through the Dolphin Parking Lot.
The Pier Aquarium is housed on the 2nd level and contains tropical fish and other sea life. Educational Programs are held at the Education Station on the approach to The Pier. Information on these programs and other on-going activities at The Aquarium can be obtained by calling 727.894.1503.
Further information on all activities, shops, galleries, boutiques, restaurants and outdoor adventure can be found at The Pier's Concierge Center on the Main Level.The Dockside Eatery includes burgers, Chinese food, ice cream and pizza. The new Dockside Activity Room is currently available for rental for meetings and events. ME AND MY FRIENDS ALWAYS GO THERE WHEN WE DON'T HAVE ANYTHING ELSE TO DO WE REALLY ENJOY HAVING FUN AT THE PIER.    loved feeding the pelicans. Great place to just kick around on a beautiful day.    Quite interesting especially the tropical fish.
